Green Procurement Notifications

All MIYOTA movements are preassembled with batteries (made by Murata, Maxell and Panasonic) inside to ensure the quality of our movements and of the batteries themselves.

Safety and Transportation of Lithium Batteries

1L60, 2S60, 2S65 and JP75 MIYOTA watch movements contain lithium batteries which are regulated according to the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air.

According to the ICAO instructions, it is the responsibility of the shipper, not of the manufacturer or supplier of the movement, to prepare the relevant documentation (“shipper's declaration for articles not regulated as dangerous goods”) and the label (“lithium battery label”).
